Ramsee McGlamory, M.A., BCBA, LBA

Owner and Co-Founder

Behavior Analyst

Parent Coach

Ramsee has worked in behavior analysis since 2016 and holds a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism Spectrum Disorders. From the beginning of her career, her favorite moments have been the “aha” moments when helping a caregiver understand their child brings a little more relief, confidence, or joy. Those moments ultimately inspired the heart behind Bloom.

Ramsee is also an ADHD mom who proudly describes herself as Type B with an ADHD brain to her core. Outside of Bloom, you’ll find her gardening in the yard, outside with her family, planning the next Disney trip, and almost always with a Diet Coke nearby.

Alex

Decatur, GA

Mom of 3.

Autism/ ADHD and OCD parent.

Alex and her husband, Omid, moved from New York City to Atlanta in 2018. From the time her oldest son was very young, Alex noticed that he wasn’t meeting many developmental milestones and felt strongly that something was different. Beginning when he was 18 months old, she sought answers and support from a wide range of specialists and therapeutic approaches. Despite repeatedly being told that he was “fine,” Alex trusted her instincts and continued advocating for her son until, at age three, he received an autism diagnosis.

Having a diagnosis gave Alex and Omid a framework for better understanding how their son experienced and interacted with the world. Alex pursued ABA therapy, and in 2018, the family met Ramsee. The work they did together proved transformative for their son and their family, helping him engage more fully with the people and world around him and allowing his curiosity, joy, humor, and unique personality to shine. For Alex, it affirmed that all those years of questionnaires, appointments, evaluations, and schlepping across New York City had been worth it.

Today, Alex is passionate about being the kind of resource for other parents that she would have valued so deeply at the beginning of her own journey. After eight years of navigating therapies, schools, evaluations, advocacy, and everyday family life as the parent of a child with autism, she loves answering questions, sharing what she has learned, and helping parents feel less alone as they find their own path forward.

One quote perfectly captures what Alex hopes to offer parents whose children have recently received an autism diagnosis:

“I’m here. I’m coming down there with you. I’ve been here before. I know how to get out, and I won’t let you do it alone.”

Karen

Woodstock, GA

Mom of 3.

Autism/ ADHD, sensory processing, and language delay parent.

My autism journey began when my oldest son, Ronan, was diagnosed with autism at age 3. He was initially speech delayed, and as we sought support and answers, we later learned that he has Autism. We began ABA and has been incredibly to see his progress. We are so thankful that we came across Bloom, whose support and guidance have played such an important role in his journey

A fun fact about me is that I was born in Paraguay, went to school in Italy, and later moved to the United States. I’m multilingual and speak English, Spanish, and Italian, and I also know some Portuguese!

Like many parents, I entered this journey with more questions than answers and I remember how lonely and overwhelming our autism journey felt in the beginning. I want to help other caregivers feel supported, understood, and reassured that they are not alone in their journey.

A quote that has stuck with me through this journey is that he is not giving me a hard time. He is having a hard time.
